UFI Filters is back at the Italian Design Icons and wins the “Most Trending Brand” Award.

UFI Filters Group participated in the 7th Italian Design Icons Exhibition 2022, the event dedicated to Made in Italy, held in Shanghai, China, from 25th to 27th November. This year was the biggest edition ever, dedicated to the theme of “Regeneration: Creating a Sustainable and Beautiful Future with Design and New Technology“, returning to Powerlong Art Center, one of the most popular gathering places in Shanghai.

UFI Filters Group has continued to support IDI, bringing many cutting-edge technologies and products into the field of filtration, thermal management and fuel cells, including HEPA Carbon Air Filters, Battery Thermal Module (BTMS) and E-AXLE oil cooler. In addition, the Group was honored to display the factory model of China’s seventh industrial site in Jiaxing (Zhejiang), which will become the Group’s largest green factory.

During the event, Francesca Bonesi, Project Management Director of UFI Filter Group Asia Pacific, introduced UFI’s Thermal management technology and solutions. Carlo Nizia, Risk Management and Internal Audit Manager UFI Filters, coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Working Group of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, moderated a panel of experts on the theme of “Industrial Design: Design and New Technologies Applied to Electric Vehicles”.

At the press conference held on the 26th November, UFI Filter Group won the “Most Trending Brand” Award of the 7th IDI. Simone Trazzi, Chief Operating Officer of the Asia Pacific Region, received this extraordinary trophy from the organiser along with the Italian Consul General Tiziana D’Angelo.

Thanks to the development of a new range of Filtration and Thermal Management Products dedicated to New Electric Vehicles, the company has become one of the market leaders of E-Axle cooling system, for Transmission and E-motor.

Additionally, UFI has developed a full range of new products for Battery Thermal Management to keep in the perfect range of temperature for the battery, especially during the fast charge operation, allowing vehicles to be recharged in less than 15 minutes. UFI also launched dedicated products for Fuel Cell applications with a focus on Heavy Duty and Stationary market.

Starting in 2023, the new Jiaxing facility will produce advanced filtration systems and thermal management applications for new energy vehicles and will also have a new state of the art R&D and laboratory development centre.
